Basically, the gaskets in a cap are used to guarantee the seal and prevent the product from leaking. However, it is important to ensure that the seal is compatible with the product so that there is no interaction between the 2 components. Ask us, we can help. 
The widely used Triseal gasket is a cardboard foam washer that resists gamma ray sterilisation. 
 
Possible uses: this cap is ideal for oleaginous and aqueous products: vinegars, oils, liqueurs, alcohols, etc.
Note, however, that this cap is not authorised for all aggressive products, such as chemically-reactive products.
